What is it about?

A growing number of politicians around the world is combing parenting with their roles in political offices—from taking children to vote with them, to breastfeeding as they listen to debates in their respective chambers. However, Parliament remains a difficult environment in which to be a mother, as the House of Commons still does not allow women to breastfeed in the debating chamber. This editorial, from the February issue of BJM, examines the politics of being a parent in parliament.
