What is it about?

A voluntary nurse led outreach project which highlights the needs of the homeless and encourages them to access services and take ownership of their health needs. Looking at the different reversible causes in foot health which effects the homeless and working with them to educate and provide support.

Why is it important?

This unique services takes the professional knowledge of qualified nurses and medical staff to the street in a voluntary capacity. We are able to build rapports with this vulnerable group and apply support and compassion to educate and initiate change.

Perspectives

Homeless Hope is a unique compassionate service which removes the feeling of invisibility from a vulnerable percentage of homeless people who struggle to access services.
