Why is it important?

Leg ulcers are a growing concern and increasing cost to the NHS. However studies have shown that treatment is not always best practice and some nurses lack the education necessary to a carry out appropriate treatment.

Perspectives

It is important to highlight the necessity for accredited leg ulcers courses for nurses in primary care.
