Why is it important?

Our findings show that PCMusic treatments had the lowest scores and qualitative data showed that both patient and LPNs found that PCMusic decreased pain during dressing change.

The use of music interventions in healthcare settings has shown promising benefits for patient well-being and treatment outcomes. However, to fully understand and utilize these interventions, more rigorous research and standardization are needed. Hopefully, this article will shed light on the area of music in healthcare.
