It aims to dispel the myths associated with working in primary care, and spread the word of what this sector offers which is an innovative, meaningful and exciting career for advanced clinical practitioners.

Perspectives

I hope by writing this article I have given an insight into primary care and what it has to offer for health care professional's considering a career within this sector. Having spent 10 years working within primary care as a nurse and as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), this gives an honest opinion on the benefits and challenges of working within primary care as an ACP.
