Why is it important?
Needed to break down barriers and outdated stereotyping. Ensure students get a quality learning experience. Encourage NGNs to consider working in a care home.
Perspectives
Ingrained stereotypes exist, usually from others who have never worked in a care home, they do not realise the dynamic learning environments that care homes are, nor the opportunity for development that they offer. By tackling these stereotypes it is hope that we can encourage NQNs to consider working within the sector as a positive and dynamic career choice.
