Why is it important?

It is important in the pre-operative stage where clear instructions are given to patients on the necessary preparations required to undergo elective surgery during pre-assessment clinics.

Perspectives

It was a great pleasure producing this report as part of my master's degree programme. I hope this article adds to the body of evidence available in my country of residence, and this consequently leads to the development of future projects addressing issues highlighted in the publication.
