What is it about?

At the Royal College of Midwives' annual conference in November, a poll from Mumsnet was shared, in which findings showed that a significant number of women had gone without food, water or medication after giving birth. The results and methodology of the study were much discussed, but one of the key points was what this study indicated for midwives, who are so understaffed that they may well being going without these basic needs themselves.
