What is it about?

The paper examines total cost and revenues of radiology departments in Greek public hospitals by using ArcGIS software during the financial crisis.

Why is it important?

The paper is important because it uses an online method that helps the researchers to share financial data in a short period of time by creating interactive maps. As a result the platform can be used as a cost surveillance system for all hospital units.
