This paper examines the lived experience of a palliative care community team as services were adapted to meet the patient needs in the first phase of the pandemic together with the learning to improve and inform future service provision.

Our research shows the importance of collaboration and co-ordination within palliative care service provision. Furthermore, how the use of technology and virtual wards support patient care needs. This all combines to consider future service delivery need against expectation of increased demand for palliative care provision.
