What is it about?
This article gives a summary of how a local heart failure service initiated virtual clinics in following up heart failure patients since the uptake of the COVID-19. This allowed the service to support the vulnerable high-risk community in minimising the risk while achieving the medication optimisation.

Why is it important?
Establishing virtual clinics are essential in supporting the heart failure community as the prognosis of heart failure patients without appropriate treatment is worse than for people with Covid-19!
