What is it about?
We studied several dozen new ventures that were launched by a European high technology company and found that even if the projects were not successful in the marketplace, they nonetheless contributed to building important capabilities.

Perspectives
I've been interested in the concept of learning from failures for a long time, as well as understanding how ventures lead to capabilities, so this was a nice extension of that line of research.
