What is it about?

Transcription factors bind to specific DNA sequences. But how much does this vary depending on cell condition and other variables? We show variation can be quite high and only one measure of how well you have modelled binding can be misleading.

Why is it important?

Transcription factor binding is an important part of regulating biological processes and understanding how it varies is useful for understanding development and disease.

Perspectives

This is a starting point for designing a web service that presents all the evidence about binding specificity under different conditions in one place. Watch this space. More to follow.
