What is it about?
We present a series of examples that demonstrate that leading edge seismic processing techniques can be applied to historic data to yield improvements relative to legacy techniques.

Why is it important?
Use of these advanced processing techniques allows energy companies to maximise their investment on existing data. This will enable them to have a clearer image of the subsurface many kilometres beneath the surface to more accurately target opportunities, be that Oil & Gas or Geothermal. Applying these techniques is a fraction of the price (~10%) of new seismic data and allows them to be more selective in future investment opportunities.
Perspectives
Demonstrating that you have maximised the value of your existing data is a powerful discussion point when requesting future funding. We are not saying that this is a replacement for new data, but merely a path to understand if you can extract what you need from existing data.
