Why is it important?
This paper is unique in application of the Synchro squeezing wavelet transform to seismic data for hydrocarbon exploration.
Perspectives
Personally, I find that the tools of spectral decomposition have been under utilised for seismic data enhancement and this paper is an attempt to go beyond the quarter of a wavelength resolution barrier that has long challenged the imagination of all Exploration and development Geophysicist.
