What is it about?

This article presents the results obtained from time-lapse 2D electrical resistivity tomography for the investigation of landslides.

Why is it important?

Repeated 2D surveys are carried out to detect temporal (seasonal) changes of the content of fluids and to more fully understand the influence on the resistivity of the subsurface.

Perspectives

Time-lapse data showed changes in the water saturation that might be triggering another round of landslides.
