What is it about?

We develop a computationally efficient - i.e. fast - approach for simulating in model space what happens to a rock when fluid is extracted and then reinjected, honoring the complex physics underpinning the process. The main application is understanding what happens when we inject gas into a well that has been producing for a long time - i.e. depleted well - in order to enhance recovery of hydrocarbon.
