What is it about?
In geomechanics study of the hydrocarbon reservoir, usually, we have a limited exploration well and also limited geophysical and logs. For the creation of 3D geomechanical models from these disperse and limited geomechanical data we need a parameter that is accessible in the hole of oil or Gas fields to coupled by geomechanics data. Usually, seismic data are used for this golf. Extended Elastic Impedance which introduced in this study is a new seismic parameter that increased the prices of the 3D model when is Coupled by information of well logs.

Why is it important?
The proposed method will be improved the accuracy of the coupling process and 3D geomechanical model of hydrocarbon fields.
Perspectives
This article is a Part of the doctoral dissertation results of the first author, I and other authors as an advisor and co-advisor help him. it is hoped that the finding of this research will be useful for increase the accuracy of reservoir geomechanics and as well as decreasing the number of tests and exploration wells
