What is it about?
Modern research in the Earth Sciences extracts insights from massive data sets, but many of the common data formats used by researchers are strained by the computational demands placed on them. We designed a new data schema to address this problem.

Why is it important?
Our new data schema is suitable for virtually any time series data from environmental sensors being used in high-performance computing applications, and will reduce the time to insight.
