What is it about?
We propose new processing tool to improve the ambient-noise imaging in the inter-source configuration. Our method is especially suitable for studies utilizing reverse-VSP geometry (i.e., with receivers at the surface and underground sources). It is simple, and data-driven technique that offers the possibility to adapt the interferometric processing to the changing nature of noise-sources distribution, without the need for redeploying the array or manipulation of the receiver spread, at the acquisition level.

Why is it important?
We propose new data-driven method for improving inter-source Green’s function retrieval. This new technique is a prototype of approach to address the incomplete receiver boundary and varying stationary-phase regions at the surface.
