Analysis of outer membrane vesicles of Xanthomonas campestris
What is it about?
Outer membrane vesicles of Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris were isolated and analyzed, with a particular focus on identifying proteins of the outer membrane vesicles.
Why is it important?
For the first time, detailed evidence was provided for outer membrane vesicles (OMV) of a member of the genus Xanthomonas, which comprises plant pathogenic bacteria that are hazards of important crops all over the world. Well-known pathogenicity-related proteins were identified among the OMV-related proteins.
