Metal surface preparation for polyurethane coatings

What is it about?

This paper describes the use of different grit blasting agents for preparing stainless steel surfaces, and some other metals, for polyurethane binding via suitable primers.

Why is it important?

The authors of this publication were awarded The Canning Bicentenary Medal of the Institute of Materials Finishing in 2012 for 'best practical paper'.
