What is it about?

Books published in 2005-08 were 28 times more likely to include one of George Carlin's "seven words you can never say on television" than books published in the early 1950s. The increasing use of swear words is another indicator of American culture becoming more individualistic -- more focused on individual freedom and less on social rules.
