What is it about?

The procedure once again awakens my fears of death and how quickly I suppress these emotions.

Why is it important?

This is a simple humorous story of facing a procedure we all go through and often joke about. Such procedures confront us with our mortality which we often quickly suppress. Facing one's mortality can teach us about life, about the importance of living it as intensely as possible in the here and now.

Perspectives

To me the great lesson death has to teach us is not about dying but about living. Making the most of what God has given us.
