What is it about?
In our recent manuscript, my co-authors and I ask: 1) How will Winfrey’s endorsement alter her evaluations by the public? 2) Which individuals in her viewing audience and the electorate will be most likely influenced by Winfrey’s Obama endorsement? We argue that the endorsement will have significant effects since Winfrey’s favorability has flourished when she has been able to transcend her racial identity.
