This paper examine how HRM has progressed after Ghana's independence and what are the likely factors and conditions that may undermine HRM advancement in Ghana.

Why is it important?

Because of the cultural differences and institional differences between advanced countries and less developed countries such as Ghana, it is relevant for MNEs originating from advanced countries to have a better understanding of the dissimilarities between the home country HRM systems and host country HRM system.
