What is it about?

Delays in trastuzumab dosing are not uncommon, leading to concerns of subtherapeutic serum level and the need for a reloading dose.

Why is it important?

Reloading is probably only needed after a delay of more than six weeks and is likely necessary if longer than eight weeks. This is significantly less demanding than that recommended by the manufacturer.
