What is it about?
This paper describes my holistic approach to teaching a clinical domestic violence course in a law school. It also discusses "professional trauma," an added concept to the concepts of trauma and vicarious trauma.

Why is it important?
The clinical teaching model described herein establishes a best practice for teaching domestic violence law in a clinical setting. It also tackles the elephant in the room of all DV clinics - how teachers and students can handle the inevitable vicarious trauma of doing this work.
