What is it about?

We were looking for all the scientific publications that have evaluated physical activity participation in Asian youth. We found 30 articles. Overall, Asian youth is not adequately active. Less than 50% of youth meets the minimum guideline of physical activity.

Why is it important?

Obesity is a big problem in Asia, and obesity is also related to physical activity. We wanted to see how active Asian youth is. This is important to inform policy makers and urge them to implement physical activity programs for Asian youth.
