What is it about?

There are various factors which customers look for in a shopping mall. These factors play an important role in attracting the customers and retaining them. This paper is based on extensive survey and discuss about these factors. When people go for shopping in a mall so during the selection mall different people have different psychology so different factors comes in that priority of selection of mall. This study is based on consumer behavior also while selection of mall.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that there are seven important factors which influence the selection of shopping malls. The study would help the mall owners and retailers to understand the insights of shoppers and thus help them to plan their strategies accordingly. Factors also helps to marketers to understand the basic psychology of customers so that they can plan for applied marketing strategy.

Perspectives

In our opinion this study is very crucial in country like India where the retailing sector is still dominated by unorganized players. The organized retail players need to understand the expectations of customers and must provide them the basic features which the customers want in a shopping mall.

As in Indian market unorganized retailing concept is still on boom so this study helps to shopping malls owner to make such a plan which having demand by the customer and provide better facilities. These factors helps to the marketer to choose better strategy for satisfied the customer.
