Their expectation from the services and what they have experiences shows a clear gap which indicates the quality of the service. The study helps the administrators to look up these factors to improve their services.

Perspectives

This study postulates many important aspects of health-care services which for long remain unnoticed. Very few study have been done so far to understand the quality of heath-care services. Prompt response, hygiene, medical accessibilities all are important for a good service. It is also necessary to look at the societal background which gives an added perspective. That's why the present comparative study of urban and rural hospitals gives a very detailed and diverse perspective of patients viewpoints, their demand and perception of services.
