What is it about?

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has been accepted as one of the most significant forces of modernisation. Studies have looked at the role ICTs play in religion and how ICTs can be applied to the religious environment. However, majority of these studies focused on the developed world. Few empirical studies focused on the adoption and use of ICTs by churches in Nigeria. This study investigated the adoption and use of ICTs by Pentecostal churches in Ibadan, Nigeria. The results revealed that majority of Pentecostal churches in Ibadan have adopted and using ICTs and the main reason for ICTs adoption was to propagate the gospel.
