What is it about?

Men and women exhibit different patterns of workforce participation over their life course. These patterns are not only associated with socio-demographic factors such as education. marital status, caring responsibilities; but are also associated with long standing health conditions like diabetes, arthritis, depression. This paper examines these associations with a gendered approach to highlight different associations between men and women.
