What is it about?
The statistics used in counseling assume that progress is linear--that participation in counseling activities leads to progress. However, common sense tells us this is not true; rather, clients will experience bumps in the road and progress is not always steady. In this article we demonstrate nonlinear models that may show what is really happening between many important relationships studied in counseling.
