Why is it important?
This is the first study undertaken in comparing between East and West using survey data from 6 Asia-Pacific countries and 4 U.S. states on the national variations and convergence of ethics and HRM practices.
Perspectives
This is the first study comparing East and West on ethics and HRM practices where there exist national variations and convergence. Selected HRM strategies to promote ethics are highlighted.
