Foamed films based on gelatin with nanoclays addition strenghten the structure of such films as well as improving its physical properties

Why is it important?
Biobased films from gelatin in contrast to oil-derivative films are environment friendly , they 100% biodegradable and with a reasonable short shelf life, such promissory properties are worthresearching
Perspectives
I hope this publication might open thinking on degradable/biodegradable packaging materials, by using renewable resourses as raw materials.
