What is it about?
The paper explored the managerial structures and practices relevant to nurture and create psychological empowerment and conceptualized them as empowerment climate. The paper also empirically examined the relative role of empowerment climate factors. The result proved that autonomy through boundaries has the greatest influence on empowerment, followed by team accountability, workplace independence and flexibility, Reward system, information sharing and then skill acquisition and development.
