What is it about?
During a single football season in the city of Philadelphia, arrests for domestic violence offenses significantly increased during Eagles' games, compared to all the Sundays during that year.

Why is it important?
It is important to consider these results for two reasons--1) there is a lot of misinformation about football and domestic violence and 2) is women are at risk during football games, there should at least be awareness of the problem.
Perspectives
For me, this was a chance to scientifically explore a "theory" that I came up with while working as a TV news reporter. After I studied criminology, I was able to quantify what many people covering news already believe.
