What is it about?
This study discusses influencing factors shaping the talented hospitality entrepreneur. The aim is to find answers to the question "How can the individual level of talent be defined for hospitality entrepreneurs?"

Why is it important?
Talent is usually defined relative to an organization. But an individual-level entrepreneurial understanding of talent in hospitality is also needed because, in the future, there will be more self-employment in light of the changing job landscape.
Perspectives
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed writing this paper. We find that adopting an "inclusive perspective" on talent was the best way to argue that every individual ( including the entrepreneur) has the potential to become excellent in a specific domain - and can apply their specific talents productively at work.
