What is it about?
Authenticity is considered to be positive for the person who is authentic - but how about the people who are surrounded by people acting authentic at work? We were able to show that teammate's self-rated authenticity is related to lower emotional exhaustion and higher work engagement of employees.

Why is it important?
The results show that it is not only advantageous to be authentic for the individual itself, but that it can also be beneficial for the one being with authentic teammates.
