What is it about?

In this paper, we take into account the different kinds of mental health problems children in the study have to decide if the mental health care they received fit their needs. We also look at whether that fit is that same across racial groups.

Why is it important?

There are many challenges to finding any mental health care and ongoing challenges to finding care that is a good fit. Identified racial disparities suggest that much more work needs to be done to make care accessible and that it is delivered equitably.
