What is it about?
Human connectedness to a place is an important part of our identities that we express in various forms. This article is about the universality of place in our lives. All of us relate to or feel strongly about the place where we were born, grew up, lived, worked, and the one that we continue to inhabit. This essay is also about how people identify themselves with small towns, even though they may not live there anymore.
