What is it about?

Rumex crispus is used by traditional healers for the treatment of several diseases. In the research, we evaluated the efficacy of R. crispus for the treatment of microbial infections, malaria, and sleeping sickness. We are able to draw up a conclusion that R. crispus is mildly effective and could also be toxic if used indiscriminately.

Why is it important?

We provide valuable information on the bioactivity of R. crispus against microbial infections, malaria, and sleeping sickness. We also provide information on the toxicity of the plant. We concluded, R. crispus is active against these diseases but could be poisonous if taken in large quantity or dose.
