What is it about?
Meriandra Bengalensis and Psiada Panctualata are two plants traditionally used in Eritrea to treat some diseases, one of which are taken in different mechanisms by people with diabetes. This study showed scientific approach of the hypoglycemic effect of these two plants.

Why is it important?
Our finding show that there is a hypoglycemic effect of this traditional plants.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom i have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to further studies on treating or maintaining this non communicable disease.
