What is it about?
My research is about developing liposomal systems for bioactive compounds from plant products. These studies aim at enhancing the stability of compounds and optimizing diffusion through cell membranes.

Why is it important?
The properties of loaded liposomes, like: entrapment efficiency, mean particle size, polydispersity index, stability were analyzed. Also, it was investigated the release behavior from liposomal formulations.
Perspectives
Obtaining pharmaceuticals (drugs and nutritional supplements) with improved therapeutic properties.
