What is it about?
This paper presents an analysis of a survey given to the instructors and teachers on our openhpi platform. The survey aims to understand the expectations and needs of our instructors to integrate JupyterHub as an online programming tool into our platform. Features such as automatic assessment and informative feedback are discussed. This paper is the first step in my research to have a fully functioning pipeline using JupyterHub and an auto-grader functionality in our system.

Why is it important?
JupyterHub has been flying under the radar when it comes to online programming learning. Specifically in European MOOCs. At HPI we want to integrate jupyterhub with our platform, utilizing its many capabilities. With that goal in mind, we created a survey asking our teachers and instructors about their expectations and needs regarding Jupyterhub. This paper presents the analysis of that survey and our vision for the future of the HPI learning platform.
