Why is it important?

Product development has become a much more distributed effort, which means that the buy-in of suppliers becomes very important. However, this buy-in also needs to be sustained for a potentially long period of time. How can you keep suppliers engaged throughout this process, even in the face of somewhat adverse information for them? This study provides some answers.
