What is it about?
We investigated the simulation experiences of Saudi nursing students using the three NLN simulation instruments. We discovered that grade point average, year level, and gender were important predictors of nursing students' simulation experiences.

Why is it important?
Our findings explain Saudi students' experiences of simulations in nursing education. Simulation is an important pedagogical approach that enhances students' achievements when implemented in nursing schools.
Perspectives
Nursing educators, with the support of the administrators, must continuously support and sustain simulation as a pedagogical approach to delivering the nursing curriculum to the students. There is a gamut of literature that a simulation is an effective approach to producing learning, but students' competency says otherwise. Therefore, more exploration of the disconnect between the actual simulation and the practice in the clinical settings is recommended.
