What is it about?
This article examines a brief history of men in nursing. Male nurses are serious about their education in nursing. They have many challenges including confronting the bias about being a male entering the profession expressed by other nurses, family, and friends. They take their desire to become a nurse very seriously and are dedicated to becoming a professional nurse.

Male students want to be known as "nurses" not "male nurses." The have qualities that are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to their education in BSN programs
