Why is it important?

Due to the increasing scarcity of fish meal availability, the future of aquaculture productions depends on the search of new dietary ingredients of vegetable origin.

Perspectives

This study is the first focusing on the effects of rice protein concentrate in Pagellus bogaraveo, a new candidate species for aquaculture diversification; both histrological and enzymatic patterns provide useful insights for fish farmers.
